Tasty Salmon Bake

Cook Along with Cow & Gate as we create a Tasty Salmon Bake using Cow & Gate’s Tasty Cheese Sauce. A healthy and delicious meal your baby will love, it contains no added salt* or sugar and is simple to prepare. And, by simply increasing the quantities of ingredients, the recipe is one the whole family can enjoy together! Ingredients:

  • 1 x Salmon Fillet (125g)
  • 3-4 x Broccoli Florets
  • 60g Cow & Gate Mini Macaroni
  • ½ Cup Frozen Peas
  • 2 packets of Cow & Gate Tasty Cheese Sauce
  • A little grated cheese

Method:

  1. Steam salmon fillets, broccoli and peas in a steamer for 10-15mins.
     
  2. Cook pasta according to instructions on packet- ensuring pasta is soft and tender.
     
  3. Drain pasta and place in an oven proof dish.
     
  4. Dry and flake the salmon fillets over the pasta and add the peas and broccoli.
  5. Pour over 2 packets of Cow and Gate Tasty Cheese Sauce.
     
  6. Grate a little cheddar cheese on top and put in a preheated oven @ 200 C / 400 F / Gas 6 for 10 - 15 mins or until grated cheese is golden and cheese sauce is bubbling.
  7. Once cooked, mash or chop to a consistency suitable for your baby.


* Only the naturally occurring salt in cheese

Makes multiple servings. Just freeze the remaining food into portions appropriate for your baby. Can be kept in the freezer for a maximum of 3 months.
