Toddler nutrition
Toddlers need around three times more energy than you on a like for like basis and their nutritional needs are very different too! They need a diet that is lower in salt, sugar and fibre but higher in fat than that recommended for adults. They therefore need to take in a lot more vitamins, nutrients and calories per mouthful. We’ve put together this section to help you give your toddler the balanced nutrition they need as well as some tips on how to tempt fussy eaters by making balanced meals more interesting! If you want any more information or some advice, contact our team of experts.
