The more they do, the more they need

From clapping to stacking!

Your busy little baby is developing at an incredible pace.

But did you know, the more they do, the more they need? From 6–12 months your baby will go through even more amazing changes: sitting, clapping, crawling, exploring, and perhaps even taking those precious first steps! They'll get even more sociable too, blurting out 'mama' and 'dada', waving and playing peekaboo.

As they do more, their nutritional needs change too, and they need:

nearly as much iron as their daddy!* They'll also need more calcium than you!**

*Based on Reference Nutrient Intakes for iron of 7.8µg/day for infants aged 7–9 months and 8.7µg/day for adult males (19–50 years).

**At 12 months a toddler's calcium needs are 53.7mg/kg body weight (based on average weight of a 12-month-old being 9.77kg, and RNI for calcium being 525mg). An adult's calcium needs are 10.4mg/kg body weight (based on average weight of adult being 67kg, and RNI for calcium being 700mg).
