What your baby’s seeing at 4 - 6 months

Is your little one chewing their toes? If they are, it’s probably because they can now see as far as their feet and even further! This is an exciting time for them as their world appears clearer, wider and brighter. At around 6 months they can see as much colour as you, so coloured clothes and toys are really stimulating for them. If you’ve got any questions about your baby’s development, just give us a call.

Another exciting change for your baby at the 4 – 6 month mark is their ability to see further and focus better, so the world is becoming a more fun and colourful place! If you’ve got long hair or glasses, you’ll probably notice that your baby starts to grab at them. And, from 4 months, they’ll be able to focus as far as their toes – so your baby will soon have a real interest in grabbing their feet and putting them into their mouth, if they can!
