What your baby’s seeing at 10 - 11 months

There’s plenty to keep them entertained at this stage, as their eyesight is just as good as yours. And now their coordination is developing along with their eyesight, not only can they grasp things – they can fling them across the room, too! Great for learning, not so great for your walls at mealtimes! Remember it’s all a learning curve, and they’re just making a connection between what they can see and what they can do. If you’d like to ask a question about their development, just get in touch.

At around 10 - 11 months old your baby will become more fascinated by 'cause-and-effect' actions, like the turning of wheels that make toys move. Their hand-eye co-ordination is also continuing to improve.
